According to their new Facebook cover photo, Lydia will release their new record, Devil, on March 19th. The band will also be touring from March 20th to May 3rd with From Indian Lakes and Sweet Talker. Pre-sale tickets go on sale tomorrow here when dates are announced.

In case you haven't heard, Lydia recently released a stunning acoustic EP. To celebrate, we are streaming the acoustic version of "Best Nights" from the release. Lydia has confirmed that they are working on a new album instead of an EP. They're trying to have it out by early next year and they'll record it with Matt Malpass. Leighton also confirmed that The Cinema have a few new songs and may be touring this fall before a Lydia fall tour.

A few months ago, we saw that you might be working on a new EP or LP for Lydia. Were you writing or recording?
Yeah we were recording a bit of it. We have probably like less than two songs that are tracked and done at this point. But as I was finishing the two songs, we were thinking about doing an EP, but I had three or four more, so there’s about five songs that are written at this point....

Producer Matt Malpass (Copeland, Lydia, All Get Out) has posted a solo song titled "The Medic" on soundcloud. The song was written around the time songs for The Cinema's album were being put together. The Cinema's record will be released on September 13th.
