This album was very therapeutic for the band. I think the last couple of records we did together were overproduced. We lost the spirit that we have live and we got pasteurized somewhat. This is beach punk…mic the instruments, sing until your voice is raw, and put it out!

Pennywise cancelled two of their European shows after singer Zoli collapsed on stage during the Full Force Festival. The band released the following statement.
Quote"Zoli was having back-pain through out the tour and at full force festival during the set he collapsed on stage a few times was taken to the emergency room where they said he needed immediate operation or risk the chance of paralysis.Needless to say we will have to cancel Hengelo and Schweinfurt and hope for a quick recovery. We are very sorry we are forced to cancel these shows but Zolis health is our main focus right now."

Pennywise have inked a deal with Myspace Records to give their upcoming album, Free to the People, away as a free download for two weeks starting March 25, 2008. A CD/DVD will also be sold at retail that day. Full information can be found in the replies.
