PureVolume recently interviewed Aaron Gillespie (The Almost). You can check it out here.
It's like this curse as a musician where you can sometimes second-guess yourself. With this album I was like, 'Let's just write this record and see what happens.' I think as scatterbrained and overpopulated as the world is right now, it just needs honesty and I wanted the music to be fresh and honest even if the music isn't some crazy, avant-garde thing.

Under The Gun recently sat down with Aaron Gillespie (The Almost) to discuss the band's upcoming new album.
From The InterviewNo. I mean, I love his records and I kind of want to go back and do a record with Aaron (Sprinkle) again. After you’ve used a producer for a certain amount of time, you should switch just to– You know, it’s like going to the same restaurant over and over again, and getting the same thing. Every once in a while, you kind of want to get something different just to try it. You know what I mean? So that’s what we did.

This Wednesday at 7 PM EST, manager extraordinaire Randy Nichols will be chatting on AP.net. As the manager for The Starting Line, The Almost, Aaron Sprinkle, UnderOath, Person L and more, he has seen quite a bit of the music business. We thought this would be a great opportunity for young bands to learn what makes a good manager, what makes a bad one, and for aspiring managers to better understand what it means to manage a band. So make sure to check back here on Wednesday at 7 PM EST.
