Promise of Redemption is releasing a song from an upcoming B-Side album for a donation to the American Cancer Society.
Hey everyone, as most of you know, I am a big supporter of the American Cancer Society. When it came to my attention that my best friend Jon Lyons was raising money for the American Cancer Society by running in the New York City marathon in honor of his dad (a cancer survivor), I thought when better a time than this to put the full weight of all of my amazing friends and fans behind such an awesome cause. Jon has been training relentlessly for this and I am super proud of him. For those of you who don’t know Jon, he is the drummer of the always amazing Zolof the Rock...

Today we are very excited to premiere Thief Club's "Follow You." The solo project of Nick of Hit The Lights, he channeled the style that brought Hit The Lights to prominence - aggressive pop-punk songs with honest lyrics and humongous hooks. This body of work proves why Hit The Lights wrote some of the most influential (and in my opinion underrated) releases in the genre. "Follow You" features site favorite Shane Henderson of Valencia lending his voice on the track. Listen to it in the replies.
Christian Wagner on 11/04/13 - 08:18 AM
I was chatting with Nick of Hit The Lights about his new project Thief Club. He will be releasing a full length called My Heavy later this year. It was produced by Rob Freeman and features appearances from Will Pugh (Cartel), Shane Henderson (Valencia), and Colin Ross (original singer of Hit The Lights). Freeman produced Skip School, Start Fights, and from what I've heard so far, it seems like it will carry that vibe for this release.

Mosey, featuring JD and Dan of Valencia, have posted up a new song.
I’ve been writing and recording music in one form or another since I was 12 years old. It had always been something I “just did” and I can’t honestly say I ever gave it a fair chance to reach its full potential. But recently, with an extra bit of confidence, a series of liberating events, and an unwavering determination, I decided now is the time and finally made a full-length record of my own. And around it, formed a new band called Mosey. Here is the first song from that record.

Shane from Valencia recently spoke at length about the future of Valencia, how hard it is to get on Warped Tour, touring solo and opening a studio for bands to record in.
ExcerptTo put up with some of the shit we put up with, you definitely have to have your heart in it. The music industry is a rough fucking place and everybody who's in it knows that. ... I don't think the breakup of Valencia is for good and I don't think any of the other guys think this is for good...hopefully sometime down the line we can get back into it and see what we can do after taking a little bit of a break. ... I just want to be a part of Warped Tour, it's the perfect opportunity, it's the perfect time. They...

JD has posted a blog explaining why he is not playing Valencia's last show.
From the BlogI was taken back by not being told beforehand or that I was not invited to play, so I sent an e-mail out to the guys asking to be a part of the show. I requested to play the whole show along with the inclusion of the new guitarist - it would not be a rotating deal, rather all 6 members would be a part of every song. I was out of the band for six months at this point, but I still felt as though I was an integral part of the group. I helped write and played on all three records. I put my blood, sweat, tears, and sacrifices into the band for the past eight years so I felt that my request to play...

Shane from Valencia has posted a blog explaining a series of earlier tweets.
From the BlogJust wanted to write you all to clear up any confusion that may have happened early this morning. First of all, Valencia are not breaking up. Secondly, we are a family….not only that, but we are a family on a constant road trip…imagine how that would end up at your house? We fight sometimes, but at the end of the day we are doing what we love, and give everything that we have to be able to do so. I wanted to apologize for what happened. Sometimes we all need to vent, but I went about it in the wrong way. To see people comment with hurtful things when they really don’t understand the...
