The Wonder Years have cancelled their Australian Tour.
We're devastated to announce that we must cancel our upcoming Australian tour due to circumstances beyond out control. We appreciate all the support we've had over the years in Australia and are looking forward to coming back as soon as our schedule permits. Refunds will be available at the point of purchase.

5 Seconds of Summer will be playing an arena show at the Forum in Los Angeles on Saturday, November 15th. According to the press release I just got, the band's new album "has already peaked at No. 1 globally on iTunes in 71 countries, and has secured more preorders than any other artist in the history of Universal Music Group." Oh, and Universal Music most certainly classifies them as "pop-punk" (actually, to be fair, it's "pop-punk sensations"). This sort of reminds me of when Simple Plan kind of came out of nowhere (from the ashes of Reset) and everyone did a collective, "Huh? These guys aren't pop-punk!", and now they're effectively written into the pop-punk lexicon. It seems like...

We're excited to announce that We Are The Union are reuniting to play Four Chord Music Festival at Club Zoo in Pittsburgh, PA on August 31st. Real Friends have also been added to the impressive line-up, which already includes The Wonder Years, The SpacePimps, Modern Baseball, Turnover, Rust Belt Lights and more. Tickets are on sale now.
In 2012 we decided to walk away from We Are The Union. We were frustrated. We felt like there wasn't a place in the music scene for us. This is our return, our rebellion. This is us with our middle fingers up, proud to push against the grain and be different. See you in Pittsburgh.

Definitely. The biggest challenge was making sure that I was basing the story around the real emotions of loss and the understanding and journey back from those kids of things; the toll it takes on you when you lose somebody in your life, whether it be from death or them deciding that they don't want to be a part of your life anymore, and you having to fill that hole in your heart. As a whole, it's a...

Read my review and check out my photos of the sold out Worcester, MA stop of The Wonder Years's The Greatest Generation World Tour with Fireworks, Citizen, Real Friends, and Modern Baseball.
The Greatest Generation World Tour is yet another testament to why The Wonder Years are the gold standard for the genre. Between their honest songs, their tight stage presence, their rabid fanbase and even the bands they surround themselves with, The Wonder Years have set the bar impossibly high for any other band hoping to take the pop-punk throne.

Defeater frontman Derek Archambault has released a statement about why the band had to drop off The Wonder Years' spring headlining tour. The band is being replaced by Fireworks.
I have been dealing with my hip condition since an accident months ago, but this has just recently in the last few months become much more of a serious problem. The doctors and surgeons I have seen strongly recommended that I get this taken care of as soon as possible before my hip breaks in it's brittle state and causes further damage.

Fireworks will return with its highly anticipated new full-length, Oh, Common Life, on March 25 via Triple Crown Records. It was recorded last fall with Brian McTernan. Additionally, the band will be replacing Defeater as direct support on the entirety of The Wonder Years' recently announced spring headlining tour.
“This is a record of self-realization. It’s all pretty self-absorbed and personal, and it all came from within. When we show it to people close to us, it can get uncomfortable because of how personal and relatable it is.” says guitarist and back up vocalist, Chris Mojan. “We were able to break everything down when we were writing,” Mojan continues. “I think that shows on the...

I've done a lot of interviews over the past few years. I mean, a lot, and I get asked the same couple of questions and give the same couple of answers constantly.
