Steel Train has been added to the High Sierra Music Festival. The guys will be playing alongside My Morning Jacket, Son Volt, Nickel Creek and many more at this years High Sierra Music Festival in Northern California. The festival will take place from June 29-July 2nd.
Bullet Train To Vegas will be touring the west coast in March with Read Yellow and Haram followed by a three week tour covering the midwest and east coast in April. When the band returns home from touring, they will enter the studio with producer Alex Newport (At The Drive In, The Mars Volta, Ikara Colt) to record their new cd that is tentatively titled, Blasphemy So Divine.
Beginning in the end of March, Steel Train will be playing every Sunday in New York, every Monday in Boston, and every Tuesday in Baltimore for a month! The New York shows will be held at Pianos, the Boston shows will be at Harpers Ferry and the Baltimore shows will be at the 8x10. For more info visit the webpage.

Steel Train has been added to this years Bonnaroo Music Festival. Other acts include Radiohead, Beck, Elvis Costello, Tom Petty, Death Cab For Cutie, Bright Eyes and a lot of other bands. The festival will take place June 16-18 in Manchester, TN.
Tomorrow night, Tuesday the 24th, members of Steel Train will be backing up songwriter Julia Haltigan @ Pianos in NYC. The next night, they begin their tour with Days Away in Boston @ TT the Bears. Head to Steel Train's webpage for more details.
Days Away will be playing a week of shows later this month with Steel Train. The band's latest full-length album, Mapping An Invisible World, was one of the most underrated of 2005. Check it out if you haven't done so already.
Fan reports in: Tonight at the Steel Train show at the William Pitt Union in Pittsburgh, PA, the band was out of this world amazing. They played for about and hour and a half and blew everyone away. They played a bunch of new songs, some songs of their new CD and some older stuff, too. They also covered Billie Jean, Ring of Fire, and Sweet Carolina by Ryan Adams. During the Ryan Adams cover, there were seriously people in the crowd crying. It was the most emotionally charged performance I have ever seen and If you are looking for emo, look no further than a Steel Train concert because there was more emotion in one of Jack's guitar parts than any screamer could possibly convey. Steel Train has been added to the 2006 Langerado Music Festival. The festival will be held on March 11th and 12th in Markham Park, FL and will also feature Wilco, The Flaming Lips, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, The Black Crowes and more.
