the "poke" section of facebook is a playful way to get the attention of someone you enjoy, without having to start up an awkward conversation. kind of like a reminder that they still think you're relevant to their lives, and its sort of like a "hey, im still here, dont forget about me" sort of thing. maybe it's like an old friend that hasnt seen you in awhile, or someone you hung out with 2 weeks ago but havent really spoken to since... it's an attention getter between buddies.

anyway, your "about me" section on your AP profile asked what the facebook "poke" does, so i explained it to you. maybe if you add me i can demonstrate. just kidding, i think the "poke" is really lame. but you should add me anyways.
